The New Mexico College Pathways (NMCP) program explores best practices in college access for New Mexico’s American Indian high school students.
NMCP worked toward improving access to higher education for New Mexico's American Indian high school students through a multi-pronged approach that
- employs mentors experienced in working with Indian students, tribal educators, high school counselors, and other stakeholders to implement and evaluate best practices.
- maintains an online presence in social networks to advise students and their families in college preparation, sharing information among stakeholders, and networking with counselors.
